Fun Facts with Stamford American International School

Authors Lesley-Anne and Monical Lim gave the bubbly students of Stamford American International School an inside look into Secrets of Singapore. From identifying credible sources to finding out what the worst job in Singapore's past might have been (hint: night soil collector), they got a glimpse into the process of researching and writing a book.

Never a Dull Moment at Dulwich College

Authors Lesley-Anne and Monica returned to Dulwich College to share how Danger Dan came about with the Year 4 students. They will be reading Danger Dan to learn more about Singapore's history which is totally awesome!

Writing talk at New Town Primary School

Budding writers at New Town Primary School had many questions for authors Lesley-Anne and Monica.

"How do you write together?" "How long does it take to publish a book?" All good questions and we hope there's more than one future writer in this bunch!

ASCD Runaway Readers Workshop at Kheng Cheng School

Authors Lesley-Anne and Monica met 80 very excited and creative P3s from Kheng Cheng School on 28 July 2017, who read #3 Danger Dan Meets the Peculiar Peranakan Pirate and #4 Danger Dan Traces the Perilous Poison, under the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (Singapore)'s Singapore Literature Project.

The students came up with their own inspirational ideas on Danger Dan powers and superhero gadgets! Glow-in-the-dark flying boots, anyone?

Monica was down with a bad throat, so Lesley-Anne flew solo at Lianhua Primary School. The students showed their appreciation with laughs and applause, as always!

Very eager beaver p4s whose arms shot up when it came to question time. We found out there were many "Dan"s and "Daniel"s in the cohort, who totally identify with Danger Dan. Woohoo!
